On average [at best], 1 in 3 people born into the Jehovah’s witness religion, remain JW’s as adults. For the many thousands each year who leave, they must move carefully through the mine field that will eventually lead to rejection by their community and family.

Chad begins his journey with Halloween!

  1. Fantastic work! I have been away for quite a while but seeing these vids helps heal me. It's cathartic, I really appreciate what your are doing, I've got to go dry a few tears now. Please keep going! Excellent production also good pacing and rhythm – spot on content.

  2. Your video's Kevin bring back memories the guy trying to get his daughter to answer was just like my Dad who was a Elder & me I also hated going on the platform the only thing I like about the JWs was the dreamers at the assemblies as a child. I liked don't touch the mic now when I see a guy holding a mic on a microphone boom pole I will not look at them the same way now lol ๐Ÿ˜ƒย  I love Halloween & dressing up.

  3. I have been a bible student for about five years now, though am still quite green about many of the activities of Jehovah's Witnesses as I am housebound and therefore unable to visit the Kingdom Hall. The ladies that visit me for study are absolutely lovely but I have struggled to give up my 'special interest' (I have autism) which is everything Harry Potter. I have been told that this (along with my fairy books and ornaments) are holding me back and causing my home and self to be infested with demons. There was recently a bit of a wild 'party' where my witness friends and a very kindly elder came to help me burn some of the offending items in my garden at night (although I haven't actually seen it, it felt like we were in a scene from the Wicker Man film). I pretty much experienced a breakdown over this and have found your channel, which I recently subscribed to (am a huge Lego fan, even though I am a grandmother :), has helped me bring things back into perspective and regain sanity. I am still confused because I really like the group I met and felt they had helped me both spiritually and socially, but most of the regulations and the governing body itself really do seem sinister. Anyway, thank you for your amazing work.

  4. I refused to let my poor kids go to any WORLDLY parties ………instead we would go to boring JW gatherings and eat old fashioned food from the 70โ€™s , like …chilli and jacket potato and garlic bread and bowls of hoola hoops and peanuts ….and play bible charades !!!!!!!…. POOR SODS !!!!!! All free now apart from one son serving as an elder ๐ŸŽƒ

  5. Hilarious as always! Love a bit of toilet humour. To fold or scrunch…..? Also loved Brother Dreary…we had a few of them in our cong! Can you bring back the expression "No, no, no…."? We still say that all the time!

  6. The episode is SO GOOD, Doctor Kevin! and now even the comments here are great, i love reading them. Thank you for your hard work. These humorous episodes help heal without triggering – who would have thought that was even possible.โ™ฅ

  7. Kevin please do a video on why we can't play sports such as squash, badminton etc at the…..YMCA๐Ÿ˜‘๐Ÿ˜‘…& BOYO Boy what great music you could play alongside that video & great costumes you could put on your Lego characters ๐Ÿ™„

  8. JWโ€™s love to talk about how great Jehovah is for giving us free will, but Adam and Eve didnโ€™t really have free will, because they were told that there would be consequences for exerting their free will. When the teenage girl in your video said she would be kicked out of the house for not being a JW, it occurred to me that the JWโ€™s are against free will in the same way as their god is.
