Since health problems are often the result of many different causes, make sure the doctor that you choose specializes not only in treatment of the spine, but also injury rehabilitation, muscle balancing, nutrition, stress related problems such as depression and anxiety and even sleep and digestive disturbances. You don’t want to have to go to 5 different offices to feel better when you can go to just one.
Make sure that others recognize the expertise of the doctor you choose. You don’t get to practice in the same area for 36 years if the experience people have in your office is not exceptional.
